Our scheduled small-group road trips run on 27 Nov – 8 Dec 2026; 11 Dec – 22 Dec 2026. A listed date is not a guaranteed departure. Send your preferred date and wait for our written departure confirmation before booking flights. Private-tour dates are agreed separately.
Where does this 12-day road trip start and finish?+
Your road trip starts and finishes in Frankfurt am Main. Airport or agreed railway-station pick-up and the return transfer at the end of the tour are included in every tariff. Exact meeting points and arrival and return windows are agreed in your offer. Wait for written departure confirmation before buying flights or trains, then send us your travel details.
What is the difference between the three tariffs?+
Every tariff includes the same planned route, passenger-car transport, driver-guide and 11 accommodation nights. Economy includes accommodation in double or twin rooms in budget hotels, hostels or apartments. Room sharing and bed arrangements are confirmed in your offer. Comfort Double / Twin is for two guests sharing a room. Comfort Single includes a room of your own. Exact accommodation and included services are confirmed before you book.
How does the double-room saving work?+
Comfort Single costs €3,170 per person. Two guests sharing a Comfort Double / Twin room pay €2,970 each — €5,940 for the pair, saving €400 compared with two Comfort Single places. Select Comfort Double / Twin in the form and tell us whether you prefer one double bed or two single beds. Room arrangements are confirmed in your written offer. Private tours are quoted separately.
Are meals and admission tickets included?+
Meals are not included, except daily breakfasts with Comfort Double / Twin and Comfort Single. Economy does not include breakfast. Admission tickets to castles, museums, paid Christmas markets and other attractions are not included and are paid separately. Allow separately for flights, travel insurance, drinks and personal expenses.
Can we book this route privately?+
Yes. You can book this road trip privately for 1–4 guests, with a dedicated car and driver-guide for your party. Send us a request with your guest count and accommodation and room preferences. We will reply with a personalised proposal and total price for your party. The small-group prices above are per person and do not set the private-tour price.
Are accommodation and meals included?+
Accommodation during the tour is included in every tariff. Economy includes accommodation in double or twin rooms in budget hotels, hostels or apartments. Your offer will confirm the accommodation, room arrangements and number of nights before you pay the deposit. Meals are not included, except daily breakfasts with Comfort Double / Twin and Comfort Single. Economy does not include breakfast. Admission tickets to castles, museums, paid Christmas markets and other attractions are not included and are paid separately.
Can I join on my own or as a couple?+
Yes. Solo travellers, couples and friends are welcome to enquire. Tell us how many people are coming, and we will explain the available departures and room arrangements before you book.
How do the deposit and final payment work?+
Review and accept the programme, total price and booking conditions first, including the departure status, minimum group size and decision deadline. We’ll then email an invoice for your 20% deposit. Pay the remaining 80% in person before your tour begins. The deposit is 20% of the total booking price and counts towards that price; it is not an extra fee. Your invoice will show the deposit amount, payment instructions and due date. The accepted payment methods for the remaining balance will be confirmed in your offer.
Does sending an enquiry reserve a place?+
No. This acknowledges your request only. No place is held, your booking and departure are not confirmed, and no payment has been taken. A provisional hold, booking confirmation and departure confirmation are separate written stages. Booking confirmation and departure confirmation are separate. Book your flights only after we have confirmed in writing that your departure will go ahead.
When should I book my flights?+
Buying flights does not reserve a place or confirm a booking. Wait for our written departure confirmation, check the agreed arrival and return windows, then book your flights and send us your flight details so we can finalise your airport pick-up.
Is my departure guaranteed when I send a request?+
No. Small-group departures require at least 3 confirmed guests in total and have a maximum of 4, excluding the driver-guide. You can enquire for 1–4 people in your own party. An enquiry or provisional hold does not count as a confirmed participant. We will confirm in writing whether your departure will go ahead no later than 7 calendar days before the agreed start date. Your offer and contract will state the exact confirmation date before you book. A listed date, received request or paid deposit alone does not confirm the departure. A private tour is exclusively for your party of 1–4 guests and does not depend on selling places to other travellers. Its date and arrangements still require our written booking and departure confirmation.
